Is this a signal service?+
No. detilt does not tell you what to trade. It is a coach for the psychological side — the part that eats most accounts.
Am I supposed to talk to it all day?+
Yes, that is the idea. Open the tab before the session, check in when you take a trade, type one line when you feel the heat rising, debrief after the close. The more you talk, the better the coach reads you and the sharper the morning journal gets.
What is the automatic journal — do I have to write it?+
No. Every morning when you open detilt, a short paragraph is waiting at the top, written by your coach from yesterday's conversation. Emotional arc, one concrete win, one thing to watch today. Two minutes, no blank page.
Does it connect to my broker?+
No. detilt does not read your trades or your P&L. You tell it how the session is going, in your own words, and the coach responds.
Does it actually stop me from placing a trade?+
No. It cannot touch your broker. It is a coach, not an enforcer. What it can do is sit in the next tab, know your rules, and be the voice that asks “is this in your plan?” before you click.
What is under the hood?+

Could someone access my conversations through clever prompting?+
No. Each user's data is row-level-isolated at the database (the same model banks use to keep customers separated). The AI only ever sees your own context — never another user's. The system prompt runs server-side and is never exposed to the model output. Even our staff cannot read your conversations without explicit, audited access.
Who can see my data?+
You. Nothing is shared, sold, or fed back into training. Everything you write lives under your account and can be deleted.
Will it know about my drawdown?+
Yes. You set your daily loss limit and any drawdown context in onboarding — the coach reads that on every message. If you are two bad trades from blowing up, it knows.
What happens if I cancel?+
